Amia goes live to the nation on 1st June 2012!

Jan and Julie have both been involved in hosting various informal launch events for our exciting new online magazine for women in the Bristol/Weston-super-Mare and Newcastle/Morpeth areas.

“We were both delighted with the response,” Jan said. “It was great to see so many people sharing our vision for the magazine and wanting to be a part of its future. We are looking forward to getting involved in many similar events over the next year - giving us a chance to get out there and meet women from all walks of life. The feedback has been great and we are really excited to see our years of work on this project come to life. We hope everyone reading our magazine will love it as much as we do!”

“I am incredibly excited about the launch of our new magazine”, Julie said. “It has been 2 ½ years in the making and we are absolutely delighted with the positive reaction and feedback we have received at the launches both north and south of the UK. We have met so many women who are doing inspirational things and it has been a joy to speak to them all about how we can work together. We hope to share the many ways that women are living their lives around the world, each with a unique story to tell. I know the magazine will develop and grow, unfurling like the cornflower within our logo - symbolising friendship and prosperity.  One woman at our Newcastle launch told us; “An amazingly inspiring start. Like a good book it leaves you wanting more. I very much look forward to enjoying the journey with you …”

“We hope that you too will be part of our journey."

Special thanks to Loves Restaurant in Weston-super-Mare, The Corner House in Heaton and Bede’s World in Jarrow who hosted our launch events.

Also, a big thanks to everyone who came along and supported us - watch this space for similar future events in your area!
